SLJ Activity 2

I live in a small town called greymouth.

greymouth is famous for its barter which is a chilly damp wind that blows down the grey valley and pushes cold damp fog into the town.

we also have lots of cool bush walks like woods creek coal creek and pint Elisabeth these are a few of my favourites.

  1. Kia ora Billy,

That is a great description of your hometown! I went to Greymouth when I was around 6 years old so I don't remember too much of the trip but I would love to visit your hometown again and go on some of the bush walks you mentioned. Thank you for the suggestions! My favourite season is winter but I don't like chilly, damp winds so I probably won't visit during winter. I would imagine that the foggy town would be a nice and mysterious sight to see though! You have used some great adjectives to describe your hometown and paint a better picture of it in my head, well done Billy! Do you enjoy the winter weather in Greymouth? What is your absolute favourite thing to do or place to go in your hometown?

    Best,
    Evelyn :)

  2. Hello Billy!

Woods creek is one of my favorites as well! It isn't very nice doing it in this hot weather though. I nearly melt by the time I get to the end. I hope you are having a fantastic holiday.
